How Follicare® Was Developed

The original Follicare® System was developed in 1996 by Dr. Chris Catalfo for his own personal use. Dr. Catalfo started to experience the effects of androgenic alopecia in 1984. He tried every product available to stop his own hair loss and re-grow hair. Not having success with any of these available preparations (including minoxidil by itself), he personally started researching and experimenting with different combinations of ingredients he believed could promote new hair growth.
