Breakthrough For Treating Hair Loss and Thinning Hair

How does FNS work?
FNS supplies the follicular cells with all their nutritional requirements. The components in FNS activate the cells to metabolize, synthesize and secrete. It also contains essential and non-essential amino acids such as cystein, the building block of proteins such as keratin and melanin, which are vital to hair growth.

Is FNS safe for both women and men?
FNS contains a unique combination of natural ingredients and is completely safe for men and women. This topical product does not contain any steroid hormones, therefore, has no effect on the sex organs in either males or females. Also, FNS has none of the irritating side effects, (burning, itching, irritation) commonly associated with other topical hair loss products.

What are the ingredients in FNS?
FNS is an enriched unique cell culture medium that is specifically formulated to provide the nutrients necessary for a healthy hair follicle. It also contains a growth hormone potentiator and a specially formulated delivery vehicle. Osmotics' has licensed the exclusive rights to this technology and has a patent pending on this formulation.

When is it best to use FNS?
The use of FNS is recommended when the follicular cells become inactive, in other words, the catagen/telogen stages of the hair growth cycle. The obvious manifestation of the catagen/telogen phases is increased hair loss.

What results can I expect?
All hairs are not visible on the surface of the scalp at the same time, due to varying stages in the hair growth cycle. Following the first three stages of the hair growth cycle, the hair is shed, and the follicle moves into a dormant period. Following this dormant period, the hair producing cells are once again stimulated to produce a new hair and repeat the cycle. The dormant period varies between 3 to 12 months. The stages of the hair growth cycle are:
A.   Anagen. (Active hair growth stage)
B.   Catagen. (Transition to the dormant or resting stage)
C.   Telogen. (Full resting stage)
D.   Dormant (no activity) Treatment is most effective when the hair is in the B & C phases of this biological cycle.

In 4-6 weeks, complete cessation of abnormal hair loss should occur. In 4-6 months, the re-growth cycle should begin. It takes time to affect this process, and the timing varies with each individual; there is no overnight magical cure.

Will FNS affect my normal hair care regimen?
The use of FNS will not affect a normal hair care regimen. However, the use of ammonia or hydrogen peroxide-based products will be detrimental to regaining normal, healthy hair growth.

How does FNS interact with products like Rogaine, Propecia and Tricomin?
FNS can be used as a stand-alone product. To date there have been no clinical studies conducted to determine how FNS works with other products. We expect to learn a lot from the experience of persons who decide to use FNS in conjunction with these hair treatments.

How do I apply the FNS?
After shampooing, and towel-drying your hair, apply FNS into your damp scalp. We recommend 3-4 pumps per application, if you are treating the entire scalp.

Do I have to use it every day for life?
We recommend a once daily treatment regimen for 9-12 months. After that time, you may reduce the treatment to 2-3 times a week.

How should FNS be stored?
Refrigeration is recommended because of the use of natural botanical oils. When the product is unrefrigerated for a long time, these oils may change color. This is only an aesthetic change to the product, and will not affect the quality or the performance of the product.

Questions regarding chemical treatments (dyeing, perming, bleaching, etc.)
We recommend that you do not apply the FNS for 24 hours before and 24 hours following the treatment.

Is FNS FDA-approved?
FNS is a cosmetic product, and meets all the FDA regulations for cosmetic products.
