Our research uncovered that it would work to support hair growth as well, and so we developed our L-Carnitine Shampoo. The L-Carnitine feeds hair follicles, much like fertilizer, and stimulates new hair growth by helping your scalp translate the energy in your blood into new hair cells. According to a study in the Journal of Dermatological Science, applying topical L-Carnitine to your scalp is proven to increase the number of hairs on your head.

Saw Palmetto:  Saw Palmetto is a powerful herbal remedy used to treat several conditions, including hair loss, male pattern baldness, female pattern baldness and alopecia. Working together with the L-Carnitine, Saw Palmetto works to prevent a harmful hormone by-product called dihydrotestosterone (DHT) from starving your hair follicles of the blood flow necessary to keep growing strong and healthy. Directions
Apply  Hewley L-Carnitine Shampoo to wet hair and massage uniformly with fingertips over entire scalp for 3-5 minutes. Rinse well. Recommend following with Hewley Saw Palmetto Conditioner. May be used daily - or as often as needed - to help stimulate hair follicle cells to support new hair growth.
After cleansing hair with Hewley's L-Carnitine Shampoo, rinse well. Apply  the Hewley Saw Palmetto Conditioner by gently working it into scalp or hair for 3-5 minutes. Rinse out thoroughly. May be used daily - or as often as needed - to protect your new hair growth and help you keep the hair you have.
